To awaken the people, it is the women who must be awakened. Once she is on the move, the family moves, the village moves, the nation moves.

Way back to 1984, the idea of spreading higher education among women was conceived by one of luminaries of Hosapete. Late Sri G Shankar goud , Ex-MLA with his initiative, the college was started and has been imparting B.A and B.Com Courses. Since the inception of establishment the college has gradually strength to strength.

It has been serving humanity by providing quality and value added education at the most affordable cost. I feel really proud to be the helm of this great institute which was envisioned as temple of Learning embedded with values, ethics and disciplinary procedures.

The college has been included under 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC ACT 1956.It is inspiring to note that the college has already completed 2 cycles of assessment and accreditation, awarded ‘B” Grade by NAAC and now taking initiative to enter in to 3 rd cycle of assessment and accreditation.
