English Department was established in the year 1984. Since from the inception many eminent faculty members have served in this department with great knowledge and teaching skills. The department members are actively involved in different committees to enrich the standard of institution.

The department is conducting the activities regularly by inviting subject experts to give special lectures on different topics. The department will ensure that the students and teachers co-ordination in entire curriculum by conducting workshops , seminars, group discussion and literary competition.

Department students are active and dynamic. They participate in many debate, elocution competitions. Department results are excellent. Many alumnus of the department are perusing higher studies. Many alumnus of the department are serving as teachers, lawyers and Govt. Officials.

The department will be having great opportunity to interact with students from all programme since the English is the compulsory subjects. The central objective of this department is to enrich our students with communication and reading skills in English. Department is a guide to those who want to explore the world of literature.
